Rays down Dodgers behind Lowe’s breakout performance

Going into last night’s Game 2 of the World Series, Tampa Bay’s Brandon Lowe was hitting just .107 in the postseason. He was 6-for-56 and struggling. Manager Kevin Cash was even questioned about leaving him in the No. 2 spot in the lineup. Cash simply said, “I’m going with my guy.”

Going with his guy certainly paid off last night as Lowe smashed home runs in the 1st and 5th innings, driving in three runs and helping Tampa Bay even the Series at 1-game apiece by downing the Dodgers 6-to-4.
