WATERVILLE — Douglas County sheriff’s deputies say a Wenatchee man raped a female acquaintance two weeks ago while she was intoxicated.
Jason Noah Shepherd, 20, is now charged with second-degree rape. He allegedly assaulted the woman during a party at an East Wenatchee home Sept. 13.
Deputies said there were witnesses to the assault, and arrested Shepherd on Saturday. He’s now free awaiting trial on $100,000 bond.
