“It’s been an absolute honor and privilege to play in this great city of Seattle for the past 10 years. I never watned this day to come, but knew it would someday. Even though I’m leaving, I will always be a Seahawk.”

Ryan went on to talk about his appearance in the Seahawks Superbowl victory as well as throwing a touchdown pass in the NFC Championship. He leaves Seattle as the franchise leader in punts, average, net average and punts downed inside the 20.
