Another signature North Central Washington community event has been cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Farm Consumer Awareness Days board made the decision this week to cancel Quincy’s annual celebration of agriculture.

The event had been scheduled to begin Sept. 14.

FCAD is an interactive event where farmers connect with consumers to demonstrate the tools and techniques they use to grow their products.

It includes a grand parade, Farm to Market Run, live entertainment, a car show and more.

The event has been held for the past 31 years.
