Public will have a chance to weigh in on new roundabout for East Wenatchee

A new  roundabout is coming to East Wenatchee next year.

The roundabout will be at Third Street Southeast and Highline Drive.

Traffic in that part of town has seen a marked increase because of new residential and commercial development.

That includes Costco and several new car dealerships.

The city and RH2 Engineering will host an Aug. 28 open house to provide more information.

The open house is at the East Wenatchee City Hall beginning at 5 p.m.

The project will include new sidewalk and pedestrian crossing upgrades with construction expected to start next Spring.
