Local agencies celebrate Public Service Recognition Week

WENATCHEE – Today marks the beginning of Public Service Recognition Week. Celebrated the first week of May since 1985, Public Service Recognition Week is a chance to honor the men and women who serve our nation as federal, state, county and local government employees.

In an official White House proclamation on Sunday, President Trump said, “every day, our Nation’s civil servants help make America better, safer and stronger”.

Stay tuned this week as NCWLIFE Channel pays tribute to public employees. Each day this week we plan to profile an employee starting today with Wenatchee City Executive Services Director, Allison Williams. We share an excerpt from her interview with Dan Kuntz on today’s Wake Up Wenatchee Valley program later in our program.
