Police release photo of pickup believed to be involved in hit-and-run

Wenatchee police have released a photo of a vehicle they believe hit a woman Monday in a crosswalk before the driver fled.

The accident happened about 5 p.m. in the crosswalk at Fifth Street and North Emerson Avenue and resulted in a broken ankle and rib and back injuries to the 57-year-old woman.

Police say the suspect vehicle is a white Ford Ranger extended cab pickup with a dark-colored accent stripe.

The pickup has a pipe rack with a ladder on top and a tool box.

Anyone with information on the vehicle is asked to contact Detective Mark Ward at 888-4255.
