Police looking for 3 men after armed robbery at Happy Crop Shoppe

East Wenatchee police are searching for three men they say robbed the Happy Crop Shoppe at gunpoint late Sunday night.

Police say the three men entered the Rock Island Road cannabis store just before the 11 p.m. closing time with two of the men armed with handguns.

They reportedly assaulted one of the two employees with a handgun, then restrained them both with duct tape in the business office. There were no shots fired, East Wenatchee Police Chief Rick Johnson said in a press release this morning.

Police say the employees were able to free themselves within minutes and call 9-1-1.

Johnson said police are working with the business to determine the amount of cash and marijuana taken.

Police are asking that anyone with information on the suspects or video footage of the area near the business to contact Detective Brandon Johnson on the RiverCom non-emergency line at 509-663-9911.
