Personal watercraft collision kills 24-year-old Moses Lake man

A 24-year-old Moses Lake man was killed when the personal watercraft he was riding on Moses Lake collided with another watercraft.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said Tyler Homesley was riding on the lake in the area south of the Interstate 90 bridge when he hit a personal watercraft being operated by Wyatt Oscarson, 24, of Moses Lake.

Homesley died of his injuries early Saturday morning at Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake.

A passenger on Homesley’s watercraft, Brian Rosborough, 23, of Moses Lake, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Oscarson was not injured.

The sheriff’s office said the accident remains under investigation but boating under the influence is not suspected.
