Panthers will host District Championship after downing Chiefs


Panthers down Chiefs 61-45, host Davis for Title

WENATCHEE, WA – The Wenatchee Panthers beat the Moses Lake Chiefs Friday night 61-45 to advance to the District 6 4A Championship.  Wenatchee will host Davis after the Pirates upset #1 seed West Valley 65-51 Friday.


Darius Carlson had his best game as a Panther, scoring 17-points and blocking two shots to ignite the partisan crowd at Wenatchee High School.  Garrett Long chipped in 10-points while Evan Smith scored 11, including 3, three-pointers.

Wenatchee will host Davis Saturday night at 6 o’clock for the District Championship.  The game will be broadcast on the NCWLIFE Channel with Grant Olson and Eric Kuntz providing the play-by-play.   The winner goes onto the regional tournament and the loser’s season is over.
