The Panthers improved to 3-and-3 in Big 9 play with the win.
In other action last night, Cashmere shut out Okanogan in 3-games in Caribou Trail League play.

Eastmont Soccer Falls in 2nd Golden Goal Overtime

Turning to the Les Schwab Prep Scoreboard in soccer…
Eastmont went into two, golden goal overtimes against West Valley after the game ended tied at 1 in regulation. The Rams scored in the 2nd minute of the second overtime to pull out the 2-1 victory. Carissa Miller score the Wildcat’s lone goal.

In other action on the pitch, Chelan shot down Omak 4-1. And Lake Roosevelt doubled-up on Manson 2-1.

Eastmont Swimmers Sweep West Valley & Sunnyside

In the pool Thursday…
Eastmont swept a double-duel with West Valley and Sunnyside at the Eastmont YMCA Aquatic Center, downing the Rams 131-46 and the Grizzlies 137-43. Eastmont hosts the 11-Dive Meet today at Noon.

Wild Fall 3-2 at Prince George, Next at Chilliwack

The Wenatchee Wild will once again have to find luck in game 2 of a series in Canada after falling at Prince George last night 3-2…
The Spruce Kings scored first in the 2nd period, but the Wild countered on a goal by Christophe Fillione. But two quick goals by Prince George to end the second would be the difference.
