An East Wenatchee man faces multiple charges after he allegedly drove his car through a pear orchard in the Monitor area Tuesday. Court documents say 25-year old Wade A. Linsday was seen by witnesses speeding through the orchard off Monitor Orchard Road.
Chelan County Sheriff’s deputies say Linsday’s car struck several trees. One witness reported he was almost struck by the vehicle which was reportedly traveling at 40 miles an hour through the orchard. Deputies say Linsday was arrested after he abandoned the damaged vehicle and then kicked in the door of a nearby home on Zager Road and tried to enter a locked car on the property. Linsday was being held at the Chelan County Jail pending filing of formal charges.
