One person killed in multiple accidents on Snoqualmie Pass

Icy road conditions caused numerous accidents on Snoqualmie Pass this morning, including one fatality, the Washington State Patrol reports.
The pass is currently closed in both directions because of the treacherous conditions. State officials will re-evaluate the pass at noon to determine when Interstate 90 can be reopened.

Trooper John Bryant said the fatality involved three semis and a car in the eastbound lanes at milepost 61.
There were six collisions in the westbound lanes at milepost 62 involving 3 semis and one car.
