Learn about local noxious weeds at workshop Thursday


WENATCHEEThis Thursday night, area residents have the opportunity to watch a slide lecture and workshop regarding how noxious weeds invade our neighborhood foothills.

The lecture is a free event sponsored by the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust to provide information and help residents learn how to identify the 15 most noxious weeds that threaten our local shrub-steppe plant communities, especially after wildfire. Neil Hedges with the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust says it’s also a great opportunity for the community to help the Land Trust.noxious weeds

The slide lecture and workshop is this Thursday, March 29th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the Wenatchee Public Library Auditorium located at 310 Douglas Street.
