A deep and cold upper level trough of lower pressure will move in over the Inland Northwest today drastically changing the unseasonably warm weather we’ve experienced over the past couple of days. Temperatures will feel much cooler compared to Thursday. Today will be 5 to 10 degrees below normal, whereas Thursday was 10 to 20 degrees above average! That is quite the cold front passing through. Northcentral Washington weather for today will be partly cloudy with just a slight chance for a sprinkle or two, much cooler and windy too with afternoon high temperatures only in the lower 60’s.
Under sunny skies, temperatures will be a little warmer during the day on Saturday, still breezy with high temperatures in the mid 60’s.
Weather for Mother’s Day on Sunday will be nice with sunny skies lighter winds and afternoon highs in the upper 60’s.
A ridge of high pressure builds in on Monday and will stay put right through Thursday bringing mostly sunny skies each day with breezy conditions Monday and Wednesday. Expect warmer weather too with afternoon highs in the mid 70’s on Monday and the upper 70’s on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
