As a weak weather system continues to move northeast into British Columbia, Northcentral Washington can expect mostly sunny skies today with west wind 10-20 mph and afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80’s.

To kick off our weekend on Saturday, the large area of high pressure that’s been over the U.S. desert southwest will begin to intensify bringing sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday with afternoon high temperatures in the upper 80’s to lower 90’s.

Our weather turns down right hot beginning on Monday and continues through mid-week with sunny skies and afternoon high temperatures around 97 degrees on Monday, almost 100 on Tuesday and 96 on Wednesday. Overnight low temperatures through the period will be in the upper 60’s to around 70 degrees.

By Thursday, a weak area of low pressure will develop in Eastern Washington which will bring the Wenatchee Valley a few more clouds, cooler temperatures and a chance for late-day thunderstorms, highs near 90 degrees.
