Weather 10-19-21

Northcentral Washington will be under a weak ridging pattern today which will bring us another dry and mostly sunny weather day. Temperatures should once again climb to above seasonal normal, sounds like a repeat of the last few days. The forecast looks to undergo big changes and those mostly clear, sunny skies will become cloudy and wet through late week and for the upcoming weekend.

Weather today will be mostly sunny and mild with afternoon high temperatures in the mid-60’s.

The first of three weather systems move our way on Wednesday with a 70% chance of showers and highs near 60 degrees.

The first trough of low pressure moves away on Thursday and residual moisture from rainfall Wednesday will make patchy fog possible for the valleys Thursday morning. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies and dry with afternoon highs near 60 degrees.

The second weather system moves our way Thursday night and Friday with widespread rain and breezy winds in some locations. There is a 70% chance of rain overnight Thursday and a 70% chance on Friday morning with highs in the upper 50’s.

Storm number three settles in on Saturday with light to moderate rain in most of the forecast area. Weather for Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be wet with an 80% chance of rain Saturday, a 60% chance Sunday and back up to an 80% chance of widespread rain on Monday with high temperatures each day generally in the mid 50’s.
