SR 20 North Cascades Highway closed for the winter


Washington State Department of Transportation announced today that SR 20, the North Cascades Highway has been closed for the winter. The highway was closed over the weekend in both directions from milepost 134 to milepost 171 at the Silver Star Gate, due to impending weather and potential increasing avalanche hazard.  The DOT announced today the closure will remain in place until next Spring.

Steve is a sports addict. Time off usually finds him sprawled out on the couch watching the Seahawks, Mariners or anything that prevents him from doing house chores.
