No injuries reported after vehicle, train collide in Wenatchee

Nobody was injured when a Jeep collided with a train at the Hawley Street crossing in Wenatchee early Thursday afternoon, causing a traffic backup and closing streets near the crossing.

Wenatchee police were expecting to take about two hours to clear the crossing.

Police are still investigating and awaiting video from the train to determine if the vehicle attempted to drive around the crossing arms or was disabled on the tracks.
