Very cold temperatures will be in place through the rest of the work-week with dangerously cold wind chills overnight tonight and into Thursday morning as low as -20 to -30. Temperatures will begin to moderate by late in the weekend and with additional chances for snow Friday into Saturday then mix of snow, freezing rain, and rain going into the holiday weekend. Holiday travelers are urged to closely monitor forecasts across the region with potential for significant impacts in and out of the Inland Northwest this weekend.

After a bitter cold start to Thursday, expect mostly cloudy skies with snow developing late in the evening and afternoon highs tomorrow around 5 degrees.
Cloudy with snow likely for Friday and Christmas Eve Saturday with 1-2” expected Friday and 1-3” on Saturday, warmer too, with afternoon highs in the mid-teens Friday and into the mid-20’s Saturday.
For Christmas Day on Sunday, expect cloudy skies with a 50% chance of rain mixed with snow and warmer with afternoon high temperatures in the mid-30’s.
Cloudy and warmer for both Monday and Tuesday with a good chance for a rain/snow mix each day highs in the upper 30’s.
