Temperature Outlook

Unseasonably warm weather is expected to continue today through Thursday across the Inland Northwest with afternoon highs in the 80’s. Numerous record high temperatures are possible today with near record values as well on Wednesday and Thursday. The heat will be accompanied by a moist and unstable air mass leading to a good chance of showers and thunderstorms especially during the late afternoon and evening hours on Thursday. A much cooler weather pattern is expected to develop by the end of the week and into the weekend as a trough of low pressure moves into the Inland Northwest. Temperatures will cool by nearly 20 degrees Friday. This cooling will be accompanied by a good chance of showers over most locations.

Northcentral Washington weather today and Wednesday calling for mostly sunny skies and much warmer with afternoon highs both days in the mid-80’s.

A warm day is also expected on Thursday too, but, thunderstorms will develop late in the day with highs near 80 degrees.

Unsettled and cool weather is expected Saturday-Monday with a chance for showers on Sunday and Monday, highs each day in the low 60’s.
