A new RV park on city-owned land has opened in Bridgeport.
The 17-space Conklin Landing RV Park on the Columbia River is a joint project by the city of Bridgeport and the Douglas County PUD.
Each paid half the cost of the $540,000 development.
In addition to the RV spaces, the new park includes restrooms, shower facilities and a picnic shelter.
Work on the park began last summer. Though already open, an official grand opening ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 3 at 11 a.m.
