WATERVILLE- Preparations are underway in Waterville at the North Central Washington District Fairgrounds for August’s fair.
Repair work has been started to make sure that the fairgrounds are kept in good shape. Commissioner Dan Sutton says the work will also include a new paint job on the livestock barn.
“The Board of Commissioners has taken a very proactive direction with the fair, we’re very proud to have the NCW Fair as part of our community,” Sutton said. “That being said, we’re committed to cleaning it up. We’re re-paving the main parking area and some of the walkways, we will be up there next week painting the face of the barns.”
Sutton said as commissioners their goal is to provide ” a nice, clean venue for the people.”
The NCW District Fair runs August 24th-27th.
