National Trails Day this Saturday, USFS waives day-use fees

Tomorrow, June 2nd is the American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day which means the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest will waive day use fees.

The fee waiver includes many picnic areas, boat launches, trailheads and visitor centers.

The U.S. Forest Service says on National Trails Day, people are encouraged to hike, bike, paddle and maybe pitch in on some trail maintenance.
