Multiple Vehicle Crash Forces Closure of I-90


CLE ELUM, WA.- I-90 westbound was closed for six hours last night following a multiple  vehicle crash about two miles East of Cle Elum. The accident happened when the driver of a tractor trailer rig jackknifed the vehicle causing a chain reaction crash involving four other big rigs and 3 passenger cars.

No injuries reported but the highway was closed until 2 am. Troopers report the driver of the jackknifed truck was traveling too fast for conditions.
