Mostly cloudy weather in store for our Thursday as the area of low pressure that is still bringing light rain to Spokane moves away from Northcentral Washington. With light west winds, high temperatures today generally in the mid to upper 50’s.
For Friday and into the weekend on Saturday, high pressure will take control of our weather bringing partly cloudy skies on Friday with mostly sunny skies on Saturday, highs in the lower 60’s.
On Sunday, a weather system will begin to bring in more clouds with highs near 60 degrees.
Weather models are showing a much wetter period on Monday and Tuesday with a 40% chance of rain both days with afternoon highs in the upper 50’s to near 60 degrees. With the expected rain next week, there doesn`t appear to be a high threat for flooding at this time.
By Wednesday, a trough of low pressure will dig south into the Inland Northwest with colder temperatures and once again, a 40% chance of afternoon showers with high temperatures below normal, in the lower 50’s.
