Missing Persons Safety Fair: A family-friendly event on National Missing Children’s Day

Parents of Missing and Exploited Children and Forget Me Not are hosting a Missing Persons Safety Fair this Thursday, May 25 at Pybus Public Market in Wenatchee on National Missing Children’s Day.

The event aims to help families and residents learn about Washington state’s missing and unidentified persons, what is available to help during that time of crisis, and meet the Washington State Missing & Unidentified Persons Unit as they provide free fingerprinting for children, and offer the opportunity for family reference DNA sampling to families of verified missing persons with a NCIC number.

Parents will take those fingerprints home and keep them secure. The event is family friendly with food and activities for children.

Come show support to the families of Mackenzie Cowell, Rudy Martinez Hernandez, Marcos Sanchez and more as they put this event together to help you keep your loved one’s safe through promoting awareness of public safety. The event starts at 3:30 p.m. at Pybus Public Market.
