Missing Cashmere teen died from drowning

Autopsy results show 19-year old Sheldon House of Cashmere died from asphyxia due to fresh water drowning. House had been missing since mid-May and the teen’s body was discovered along the Wenatchee River late last week.

The results were released Wednesday by Chelan County Coroner Wayne Harris who also said the manner of death is undetermined at this time. Toxicology samples are being sent to the state toxicology lab for testing and the results may or may not be a contributing factor in the manner of death.
