Mild and dry weather will continue today through Saturday as high pressure strengthens of the coast. Expect periods of mostly upper-level cloudiness early today, turning mostly clear for this afternoon across the region. Northcentral Washington weather today will be sunny and nice with afternoon high temperatures in the mid 70’s.
Unseasonably warm temperatures will continue on Friday and Saturday as well with sunny skies each day with afternoon high temperatures near 80 on Friday and into the mid-80’s on Saturday.
The high-pressure ridge axis will shift over the northern Rockies on Sunday with moisture increasing off of the eastern Pacific. Expect dry conditions on Sunday with increasing clouds throughout the day and a 30% chance of showers, slightly cooler temperatures too with highs in the mid 70’s.
The weather pattern looks to shift to a cooler and wetter period Monday through Wednesday of next week as a typical fall Pacific weather system moves in. Monday and Monday night will be cloudy with a 40% chance of rain with high temperatures in the lower 70’s.
More unsettled weather is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday with a 40% chance of rain Tuesday going down to a 20% chance on Wednesday, highs both days in the upper 60’s.
