Corvallis beat Yakima Valley Friday 13-to-2 to win the best-of-three series 2-to-1. Nick Vogt’s RBI-triple capped a 5-run second inning as the Knights put the game out of reach early. Kiko Romero ended the game 3-for-5 with a 2-run home run and 4-RBI’s.

Ethan Ross pitched 5-innings to earn the victory on the mound, allowing 1-run on 4-hits with 7-strikeouts.

It was Corvallis’ 8th overall W-C-L title, dating back to 2008.
