Man hospitalized after motorcycle accident near Mazama

A 61-year-old North Bend man was airlifted to Harborview Hospital in Seattle yesterday after a motorcycle accident.

John R. Still crashed his Harley Davidson Street Glide on Highway 20 about four miles west of Mazama at around 4:00 Thursday afternoon.

The Washington State Patrol say Still was riding the motorcycle eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and collided with a guardrail.

Still was thrown from the motorcycle on the right side of the highway before the bike continued on and crossed the highway hitting a tree.

Still’s condition at Harborview is not known at this time.
