EAST WENATCHEE —The Rock Island man who drove his BMW wagon through the Wenatchee Valley Mall must pay more than $46,000 in damages.

Francisco Samuel Kehoe

Francisco Samuel Kehoe, 32, pleaded guilty to felony DUI, malicious mischief, meth possession and reckless endangerment after the May 8 incident. The mall owner, Namdar Realty Group of New York, filed a court claim last month to recoup the $46,892 replacement cost for its smashed front doorway.

Douglas County Judge Brian Huber signed the order Monday making Kehoe responsible for the restitution, after he’s release from his one-year prison sentence. Kehoe admitted being high on both meth and heroin at the time of the incident. Police found 3-1/2 grams of meth in the car when they arrested him just outside the mall parking lot.

No one was injured.
