WENATCHEE – It’s been in the works since June, but the Wenatchee Wild organization announced Wednesday that Head Coach and General Manager Bliss Littler has been signed to stay through the 2020-21 season. Littler says it’s nice to know where he and his family will call home for a while. Littler joined the Wild in May of 2012 after a 12-year stint coaching USHL hockey. His current Wenatchee Wild club sits in first place in the BCHL’s Mainland Division at 13-and-2. He says it’s been a fun team to coach.
The Wild are preparing to host Coquitlam in a two-game stint this weekend at the Town Toyota Center after sweeping Merritt and Penticton. A two-game stretch where Charlie Combs had back-to-back hat tricks. Coach Littler says that is a rare thing. “In 25 years of coaching, I’ve never seen it,” Littler exclaimed. Both games this weekend start at 7 o’clock on Friday and Saturday. Go to WenatcheeWildHockey.com for more information.
Be sure and join Arch Echer and Bliss Littler tonight on Call of the Wild at 8 o’clock here on the NCWLIFE Channel, followed by Thursday night hockey with Wenatchee hosting Merritt at 8:30.
