Parking has been a perennial problem in Leavenworth and residents now have a chance to weigh in on some suggested solutions.
The city’s Parking Advisory Committee is holding an open house Thursday evening at 6:30 at City Hall to hear feedback on its ideas.
Among the suggestions are downtown parking meters, designated parking areas for employees of local businesses and special permits for city residents.
The committee also is looking at having designated parking hours in residential areas.
The city council eventually will decide what changes, if any, to make in parking policies.
