Lake Chelan Hospital on track despite unexpected loss

CHELAN – With a plans for a new hospital on the horizon, the resignation of their CEO and the death of a commissioner, the Lake Chelan Hospital Board of Commissioners have their work cut out for them this Spring.

Commissioner Mary Signorelli said the hospital is still coping with the death of Tom Warren in April.

After putting the vacancy out to the community, Signorelli says the Board got a good response.

Signorelli added that while they have an interim appointed to the position, the commissioners are working with a consulting firm to help fill the role of CEO.
