It’s election day and ballots need to be turned in by 8 tonight

The clock is ticking on the time left to vote in today’s election.

Ballots need to be turned in by 8 p.m. or be postmarked by today’s date to be counted.

Dropping it in the mail today won’t guarantee you of getting today’s postmark, however.

This off-year election features several races for mayor in North Central Washington cities, including East Wenatchee, Leavenworth and Chelan.

In addition, numerous school board seats will be decided, as will two issues on the statewide ballot.

Ballots can be taken to the county courthouse or one of several drop-box locations.

We’ll be posting election results tonight on our website.
