Washington Gov. Jay Inslee will be in Cashmere Sept. 16 to help celebrate two grand openings at the Cashmere Mill District Business Park.
The noon ribbon-cutting ceremony will recognize the first tenants of the business park, Blue Spirits Distillery and Hurst International.
Blue Spirits Distillery will occupy 6,800 square feet and Hurst, a fruit label printer and label equipment manufacturing business, about 6,500 square feet.
The two buildings at the business park on a former mill site have a combined 32,000 square feet of space.
The business park is on the site of a former lumber mill.
The Port of Chelan County cleaned up the property for the business park.
