Washington Gov. Jay Inslee is looking a lot like a candidate for president in 2020, Politico reports.

Inslee will be in Johnson County, Iowa Oct. 14 to take part in two events. In June he headlined an Iowa Democratic Hall of Fame dinner. Iowa is the traditional launching ground for presidential bids.

He told Politico he is “not ruling out” a run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020. He said his party needs a candidate who is “committed to climate change and defeating climate change.”

In August, Inslee also said he was not ruling out running for a third term as governor.
