High pressure in Northern Idaho will bring us dry and mostly sunny weather conditions today with afternoon high temperatures into the upper 50’s to near 60 degrees.
For Tuesday, a broad but shallow upper level ridge builds over Northcentral Washington however, a fetch of deep Pacific moisture will also begin to intrude into this westerly flow, which will include plenty of mid and high level clouds a 20% chance of scattered showers and high temperatures tomorrow in the lower 60’s.
On Wednesday, the ridge of high pressure amplifies bringing mostly sunny skies both Wednesday and Thursday with afternoon high temperatures in the mid to upper 60’s Wednesday and lower 70’s on Thursday.
Friday through Monday, weather models are in good agreement that a weak fetch of moisture will move across the ridge of high pressure in place over Washington on Friday bringing a 30% chance of showers in the morning with high temperatures near 70 degrees. The weather forecast for the upcoming weekend looks nice with mostly sunny days and mostly clear nights with daytime highs in the mid 60’s and overnight lows in the lower 40’s.
