High pressure continues to dominate our weather picture for the next 3 days bringing sunny skies, light wind and afternoon high temperatures unseasonably warm into the upper 50’s to lower 60’s. Portions of the Columbia Basin could reach the middle 60’s this weekend.

The weather forecast for this weekend looks great with sunny skies each day, a light breeze and afternoon high temperatures in the lower to mid-60’s.
Then between Sunday night and Tuesday night, the next weather system drops down from Alaska and digs a long-wave trough over the Pacific Northwest coast, before starting to move inland on Monday. Expect mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures both Monday and Tuesday with a 20% chance of rain on Monday with highs in the mid 50’s and a 30% chance of showers on Tuesday with afternoon high temperatures in the lower to mid-50’s.
The weather system moves out of our area on Wednesday allowing another ridge of high pressure to build in bringing mostly sunny skies with afternoon high temperatures near normal, into the mid 50’s.
