Health District reports two more dead bats found in downtown Wenatchee

WENATCHEE-The Chelan-Douglas Health District reports two more dead bats have been found in downtown Wenatchee.

One bat was found in a public alley at 338 North Wenatchee Avenue and the other bat was found on a public sidewalk at 22 North Wenatchee Avenue.

Both bats were collected by animal control and delivered to the health district but due to the condition of the bats, they could not be tested for rabies.

Remember, never touch live or dead bats and keep all pets updated on their vaccinations. For more information on rabies, tune in to NCWLIFE’s interview with the Chelan-Douglas Health District.
