Loren Culp, the Republic police chief who is now running for governor, will be in Cashmere on Monday.
Culp, who gained some national fame for refusing to enforce Washington’s new gun laws, is seeking the Republican nomination.
He will speak and answer questions at Riverside Park from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Culp is an Army veteran and former drill instructor.
After refusing to enforce I-1639, Culp appeared several times on Fox News programs and wrote a book about his experiences called “American Cop.”
