Ready or not, another franchise is coming to Seattle. And no, we’re not talking about hockey…

That’s right, Vince McMahon’s football league is coming back in 2020 and Seattle will have one of the league’s eight franchises. McMahon, the CEO of the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE), announced Wednesday that Seattle’s team will play at CenturyLink Field and begin the week after the NFL’s Superbowl in February of 2020. Other cities with teams will be Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York St. Louis, Tampa Bay and Washington D.C.
You’ll remember that McMahon brought the first version of the XFL out in 2001. It lasted just one season when NBC pulled out of the agreement. As of yet, there are no television rights to XFL games.
