BRIDGEPORT – Douglas County Deputies arrested a fugitive from Spokane wanted on an escape warrant.
The arrest was made late Tuesday night at a residence in Bridgeport after Douglas County Deputies received information that 20-year old Morningstar St. Peter of Spokane was hiding there. St. Peter was arrested without incident and transported to the Okanogan County Jail. St. Peter had an arrest warrant out of Spokane for escape from community custody.
While apprehending St. Peter, deputies also noticed drug paraphernalia in the house. After obtaining a search warrant, deputies found two small bags of heroine, one small bag of methamphetamine and four glass pipes. Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal says the investigation continues.
