A former smoke-shop worker pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sell cannabis on Monday, and now must serve 60 days on electronic home monitoring.
Ahmed Sarameh, 36, was arrested in a sting operation in April 2018, selling almost $800 worth of cannabis vape oil out of his SUV.
Sarameh worked at Nazaman Tobacco in the Wenatchee Valley Mall, and conducted the sale in the parking lot.
Conspiracy to deliver cannabis is a Class C felony. The state Liquor and Cannabis Board revoked the tobacco shop’s license over the incident.
The store has since been licensed to a new owner.
