Former employee accused of selling furnishings from senior living facility

An East Wenatchee man is charged with trafficking stolen property after allegedly trying to sell a table stolen from a nursing home to a Douglas County sheriff’s detective.

Nicholous Valenzuela allegedly posted online to sell furnishings taken from Bonaventure Adult Care, where he formerly worked.

Items for sale included a dining table, framed portraits, chairs, lamps, and even a washing machine.

Police said they arranged to buy a table from Valenzuela in a operation last week before seeking charges, and found some stolen items in his home.

He faces arraignment Sept. 28.
