Forest Prescribed Burning Continues

Private property owners urged to make their homes wildfire safe


WENATCHEE, Wa.- From the NCWLIFE Pardon our smoke file: Spring prescribed burning has started on the Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forest. Forest Spokeswoman, Robin Demario says residents can expect to see some drift smoke from the controlled fires .

Demario also reminds rural property owners to make sure their homes are fire safe as they begin spring cleaning chores . . .
