First two COVID-19 vaccination clinics for ages 5-11 are Saturday

Fourteen COVID-19 vaccination clinics for children ages 5 to 11 have been scheduled over the next 20 days in Chelan and Douglas counties.

The first two of those will be Saturday in Wenatchee and Chelan.

The Chelan-Douglas Health District and Lake Chelan Health will be offering the Pfizer vaccine for the first time to that age group.

Saturday’s clinics will be at Lincoln Elementary in Wenatchee from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at the Chelan Fire Station in Chelan from 9 a.m. to noon.

Future clinics beginning Monday will be in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Entiat, Orondo and Mansfield.

The health district is asking for pre-registration for vaccinations, which can be done through the Chelan-Douglas Health District or Lake Chelan Health websites. Pre-registration for the two clinics at Lincoln Elementary Nov. 11 and 20 can be done here. Pre-registration for the other clinics can be done here.
