Fire destroys Lake Chelan Home

CHELAN, WA.-Firefighters in the Lake Chelan area responded to a predawn house fire Saturday. Chief Tim Lemon with Chelan County Fire District 7 said the blaze was located at a residence in the Sunnybanks Road area. He says the house was fully involved when crews arrived in the 3 am hour. He says two of the home’s occupants were able to escape. The home was a total loss and the fire also reportedly burned six vehicles on the property. The cause was under investigation.
