Fire Under Control at Dry Lake

MANSON, WA.-Manson Firefighters responded yesterday afternoon to the scene of a fire in the reed beds on the north west shore of Dry Lake. Officials say it was difficult to access and presented some challenges that are not common with other fire types. At last report around 11 pm last night it was reported that crews were getting the upper hand but they remained on scene overnight. There were no reports of threats to structures and the fire’s cause was not disclosed.
